Consultation on draft Construction Management Plan
May 2026
British Land have selected John F Hunt as their deconstruction and below ground enabling works contractor for Pre Construction Services to prepare for the next phase of works on the Regent’s Place Estate.
To support this phase of works, John F Hunt has been preparing the proposed Construction Management Plan (CMP) and site logistics to submit to Camden Council, in line with the pre-commencement planning conditions set out in the planning permission. Ahead of submission, we want to hear the views of local residents and businesses on our CMP to ensure this process is managed as considerately as possible.
You can view the draft Construction Management Plan here.
We welcome any questions or comments on the draft CMP before we finalise it and send it to the London Borough of Camden. Please send any feedback to info@eustontower.uk by Thursday 28 May.
Enabling works
January 2026
We received a resolution to grant planning permission in March 2025 for our application to redevelop Euston Tower into a world-leading science, technology, and innovation building for Camden and the Knowledge Quarter with benefits to Camden and its communities. businesses.
We have recently appointed Keltbray to carry out essential power infrastructure upgrades which includes the construction of a new electrical substation within the existing Regent’s Place basement. To facilitate this, preparatory works will be required in the Regent’s Place Plaza, along its boundary with Euston Road.
From 19 January 2026, hoarding will be installed around the lawn on the southern edge of the plaza and works will commence. Pedestrian access between Euston Road and the plaza will be maintained at all times and retail units within Euston Tower facing the plaza will remain open and trading as usual.
During the early stages of the programme, there will be limited periods of noisier activity associated with the removal of sections of the plaza slab. To minimise disruption to residents and customers, noisy activities will be:
- Limited to morning / evening commuting hours (8:00am-9:30am and 5:00pm-6:00pm) and lunch time (12:00pm-1:00pm)
- Time-limited, lasting approximately 14 days
We anticipate the works will continue until July 2026, but much of this work will be contained within Regent’s Place. Following the works we hope to commence with the redevelopment of Euston Tower itself. Working closely with our contractor to minimise disruption we will ensure that impacts on neighbours, businesses, and public spaces are carefully managed.
